This program is designed to help National Guard Members and learn more about low risk drinking.  We can also address issues common in service members such as depression, grief, isolation, family conflict, traumatic brain injury, and/or posttraumatic stress.  You will have the opportunity to develop healthy living and communication skills. A team of military experts and research psychologists worked together to develop this prevention program. Get the information and skills to make changes in your drinking and coping.


Guard Family CARE is CONFIDENTIAL and offers:

  • One initial evaluation session

  • 6 weekly private classes

  • One follow-up interview after completion of the 6 sessions

  • Payment for participation in the initial and follow-up research assessments
